We have a son that has been diagnosed with ADHD. He was diagnosed before he started kindergarten by the suggestion from his teacher. She said that unless he was able to settle down that he could not even complete the entry test for the school. We were not ready to put him on medication but after discussing it together, we felt that academically and socially he was suffering. Other kids looked at him like he was crazy. Other parents looked at us like we were crazy.
